The Phoenix Coyotes are having a stellar year on the ice, but the hockey franchise can't shake its financial troubles.
The Coyotes could be worth far less than the $160 million sales price the National Hockey League has pitched to Ice Edge Holdings .
In the meantime, the Canadian group has run into obstacles financing its purchase of the team, which has been in Chapter 11 reorganization, according to several sources familiar with the sale and bankruptcy.

But when the Dec. 29 trade to Minnesota was presented to him as a chance to play, he embraced the idea.

LifeLock Inc. is taking its sponsorship of the Phoenix Mercury up a notch, adding its name to players' practice jerseys for the upcoming season.
The Tempe-based provider of identity-theft-protection services and the reigning WNBA champions will announce the deal today.
